Automation Tools of PLC & Scada System

VEEA Club organized a 3 day workshop on “Automation Tools of PLC & Scada System”. The workshop was organized by the VEEA Club in collaboration with SMEC Automation PVT. LTD. Mumbai from 17^th-19^th Oct.2013.

  The function started with the welcoming of the guests and speeches by eminent guests followed by high tea.

An introductory session about automation, PLC, Scada was carried out by the guests whereby students were introduced to automation, use of automation in the industry, use of Plc.’s & Scada system .To make the session more interactive questions were raised by the students to whom the CRG Engg. Responded with enthusiasm.

The second session started with the discussion about various Logic gates, various PLC’s were shown to the students including Allen-Bradley , Siemens .

PRASHNOTARI- a quiz competition (Navaratra Special) Recorded by Doordarshan Rajasthan

The VEEA Club organized this activity comprising of around 150 student’s participation. Activity involved recording of a TV show of DD Rajasthan named “prashnotari”. Show hosted by Dr. Mahendra Surana former IAS an attractive personality presently working with dainik bhaskar group. - editorial advisor, Ex Vice chancellor Jodhpur National University, anchoring quiz programme on Doordarshan Jaipur for last 16 years. The show started with introduction of VIT College keeping a GK quiz competition in which various questions were asked and prizes were given for every correct answer. Dr. Surana also gave a motivational speech before starting of show. Our campus students won 25 prize coupons of worth rupees 100 which were sponsored by Saras Jaipur Dairy.

Strength of the VEEA Club.

Our student’s themselves prepared six extension boards, four house wiring display board and two different types of lamp display board under electrical workshop lab for EEE lab which will be supplied to VGU.
This work is headed by Mr.Manish Verma , co-cordinator Electrical Workshop.

Winner's of the National Level Project Exhibition

Three projects funded by DST in 2012, our student’s project like “GSM based Energy Meter” won first prize 21,000 in national level project exhibition organized by R & D Dept in VIT campus.

Unveiling of the VEEA Club's Logo

The first glimpse of the logo of the VEEA Club was unveiled by the college administration on Friday, the 13th of September 2013.

Initiation of the VEEA Club

The VEEA Club ie. Vivekananda Electrical Engineers Association Club was initiated on the 5th of October keeping in mind the changing trends of technology . The club has been initiated with the motive of fostering and imparting knowledge along with developing one's own skills.
The working of the club is targeted towards innovation .It's a place where u just not only learn but also teach ,a place where you innovate , where innovation is acknowledged.
The meeting started with the Chief Co-ordinator's Speech : Mr.Kuldeep Saini.
A senior lecturer in the EE Dept.of VIT Jaipur needs no introduction.It is he who initiated with the idea and others followed and today i'm proud to announce that the VEEA Club is the biggest club in the VIT Campus with a membership of 190+.
He has been a real guide, a mentor, an inspiration behind the existence of the club.At around 12.30 pm a meeting was organized in the seminar hall whereby al the members were introduced to the club along with the activities that would be held in the club.
Mr.Deepesh also provided a motivational speech inspiring the students.
Mr.Manish Verma also gave tips to the students about excelling in life.He emphasised on innovation which is what the club is all about "INNOVATION".
Welcoming the members of the club was followed by distributing soft-drinks.
Looking at the zeal, passion & enthusiasm of the students the future of the club seems very bright....
